Glen Rose has a small town look and feel, but there are lots of things to do and see. Ronnie and his family used to come here camping. It was one of our favorite places. Then when we had a chance to buy a lot, we jumped at it. Our company loves living and working here and wants to share with you some 'Glen Rose' links so that you will also get to know the town!

Schools:

Glen Rose Independent School District is a very highly rated district. In 2007, Glen Rose High School Students exceeded the National and State averages on ACT Exam. Additionally, in 2008 Glen Rose ISD had the 8th lowest total tax rate in the State! A big bonus for everyone living in Glen Rose

Attractions:

Although Glen Rose is a small town, there are lots of things to see and do in the area. These sites are just a few of the attractions that Glen Rose has to offer!

•Fossil Rim - is a wildlife park where you can see exotic animals such as giraffes, rhinos, and cheetahs! It's lots of fun, so bring the kids!

•Dinosaur Valley Park - is a State Park that has some of the best preserved dinosaur tracks in the world.

•Squaw Valley Golf Course - is a must for golfers! This 36 hole course rated as one of the top 10 public golf courses in the state of Texas.

•Dinosaur World - Larger than life fun - as big as life dinosaurs!

•Country Wood Inn - is a charming bed and breakfast. It has an abundance of amenities. There are several different 'houses' to choose from when you book your stay.

•Tres Rios Ranch Park - is an RV and tent campground. Three rivers join at this location, so bring your canoe! Ronnie and his family enjoyed camping here before he moved to Glen Rose.

Hospitals and Churches:

Glen Rose has an accredited hospital and is also home to many churches. Below are the links where you can find more information.

•Glen Rose Medical Center - Since 1996 Glen Rose Medical Center has received accreditation for its hospital, laboratory, and nursing home from the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care.
