R Godfrey Homes: Country Magic House

Country Magic was our 2008 model home and 2009 Energy Value Award Winner ! It' s been sold, but we can build you one like it. The floor plan features a 3 bedroom/2 bath/2 car garage house (1723 square feet) with James Hardie fiber-cement siding on the outside (it can be built with brick for an additional fee). The Interior design includes a combined living,dining, and kitchen area, granite countertops, custom cabinets, a mud room, and large kitchen panty.

Country Magic is extremely energy efficient, saving lots of money on heating and cooling bills. What makes our homes so energy efficient? The features below tell the story:

Blown insulation in the exterior walls yielding an R-19 rating
R-30 under roof insulation
Sealed attic system with the air conditioner and ducts inside insulated space
Energy efficient insulated vinyl framed windows with low E coating
High efficiency water heater assisted by a solar hot water system mounted on the roof
2’ roof overhang - shading the windows and walls from direct sunlight
Jump ducts to equalize the air conditioning system making it operate more efficiently
