R Godfrey Homes has been building homes in the North Central Texas area since 1977. Our company president, Ronnie Godfrey is a Certified Graduate Builder. He deeply cares about the quality of the homes we build. And he is out at the job site daily to insure that each home is built right.

The majority of homes we have built are in rural locations. All of our houses are quality constructed and extremely energy efficient, exceeding the Energy Star standards.

Our company is a Multi-Award Winning Home Building company. In 2004, our entry in the Fort Worth Spring Tour of Homes garnered us a trophy. The floor plan was Ronnie’s own design. Again in 2005, we entered our Energy Star home and won another Award.

For the second straight year, we won the Energy Value Housing Award. This is a nation-wide builder's competition honoring builders who voluntarily incorporate energy efficiency in design, construction, and marketing of new homes. For more information about this, check our What's New page.

We recently joined Green Built North Texas. Our houses will now be built using these guidelines and verified by third party inspectors. Our homes are being built 'green' in addition to being extremely energy efficient.

In addition to building houses, we have developed 14 communities. Our two latest projects are in the Glen Rose, Texas area. One project is a small rural community consisting of 17, one-plus acre lots named Sunflower Meadows. We will be the only builder in this community. The other project named Primrose Meadows is also a rural community. We may reconfigure a part of this community to offer larger lots.
